Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of Victoria

 26th Championship Show
(Photos, Results & Critiques)

Sunday 9th March 2003

JUDGE: Mrs Carol Smith (Nuklnoz)

I would like to thank the club, committee and exhibitors for the opportunity of going over your dogs.  I thoroughly enjoyed the day and it was a pleasure for me although I did have to make some very hard decisions on the day.  Thanks must go to Ross and Mick the stewards, and thank you for the lovely luncheon set out.  It was a pleasure also to catch up with Helen Craig, Brian Parry, Winton McColl and Glen Consadine.

Overall I found the quality of the bitches to be better than the dogs which bodes well for the future of the breed.  It was pleasing to see very few mouth problems, but I did find in the minor and puppy classes some top sized dogs who still having growing to do.

Thank you once again for a memorable day for me, and I wish everyone well for the future.
